²As ^(A)smoke is driven away, so drive them away;
As ^(B)wax melts before the fire,
So let the ^(C)wicked perish before God.

Psalm 68:2

New International Version

²May you blow them away like smoke—^(A)
as wax melts^(B) before the fire,
may the wicked perish^(C) before God.

⁹For, behold, Your enemies, O Yahweh,
For, behold, ^(A)Your enemies will perish;
All the workers of iniquity will be ^(B)scattered.

⁹For surely your enemies^(A), Lord,
surely your enemies will perish;
all evildoers will be scattered.^(B)
