¹⁶ The trees of the field^[a] are watered abundantly,
    the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.

²² They shall not build and another inhabit;
    they shall not plant and another eat,
for like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be,
    and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.^(A)

⁵ I will be like the dew to Israel;
    he shall blossom like the lily;
    he shall strike root like the forests of Lebanon.^[a](A)

⁶ His shoots shall spread out;
    his beauty shall be like the olive tree
    and his fragrance like that of Lebanon.^(A)
