Therefore, as he was coming into the world, he said:

You did not desire sacrifice and offering,
but you prepared a body for me.
You did not delight
in whole burnt offerings and sin offerings.
Then I said, “See—
it is written about me
in the scroll—
I have come to do your will, God.”[a](A)

After he says above, You did not desire or delight in sacrifices and offerings, whole burnt offerings and sin offerings (which are offered according to the law(B)), he then says, See, I have come to do your will.[b] He takes away the first to establish the second.

Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll(C)

First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”(E)—though they were offered in accordance with the law. Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.”(F) He sets aside the first to establish the second.
