⁸Lead me, Lord, in your righteousness^(A)
because of my enemies—

⁸Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

⁷The earth trembled^(A) and quaked,^(B)
and the foundations of the mountains shook;^(C)
they trembled because he was angry.^(D)

⁷Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.

³I am overwhelmed with troubles^(A)
and my life draws near to death.^(B)
