4 For you are not a God who desires[a] wickedness.
Evil cannot dwell with you.
5 The boastful do not stand before[b] your eyes.
You hate all evildoers.
6 You destroy speakers of lies.[c]
A man of bloodshed[d] and deceit Yahweh abhors.

4 For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;
    with you, evil people(A) are not welcome.
5 The arrogant(B) cannot stand(C)
    in your presence.
You hate(D) all who do wrong;
6     you destroy those who tell lies.(E)
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
    you, Lord, detest.
