Psalm 49:10-12
American Standard Version

10 For [a]he shall see it. Wise men die;
The fool and the brutish alike perish,
And leave their wealth to others.
11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever,
And their dwelling-places to all generations;
They call their lands after their own names.
12 But man being in honor abideth not:
He is like the beasts that perish.

10 For all can see that the wise die,(A)
    that the foolish and the senseless(B) also perish,
    leaving their wealth(C) to others.(D)
11 Their tombs(E) will remain their houses[a] forever,
    their dwellings for endless generations,(F)
    though they had[b] named(G) lands after themselves.

12 People, despite their wealth, do not endure;(H)
    they are like the beasts that perish.(I)
