Psalm 46:8-10

8 Come and behold the works of the Lord, [a]what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9 He maketh wars to cease unto the ends of the world, he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear, and burneth the chariots with fire.
10 Be [b]still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the heathen, and I will be exalted in the earth.

New International Version
8 Come and see what the Lord has done,(A)
the desolations(B) he has brought on the earth.
9 He makes wars(C) cease
to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow(D) and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields[a] with fire.(E)
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;(F)
I will be exalted(G) among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
