3 Know that the Lord has set apart
the faithful for himself;
the Lord will hear when I call to him.
4 Be angry[a] and do not sin;(A)
reflect in your heart while on your bed and be silent.(B) Selah
5 Offer sacrifices in righteousness[b](C)
and trust in the Lord.(D)

4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.
