⁸Lord, I love^(A) the house where you live,
the place where your glory dwells.^(B)

¹¹Has a nation ever exchanged its gods?^(A)
(But they were not gods!^(B))
Yet My people have exchanged their^[a] Glory
for useless idols.^(C)

¹¹Has a nation ever changed its gods?
(Yet they are not gods^(A) at all.)
But my people have exchanged their glorious^(B) God
for worthless idols.
