you have always
    been patient and kind.
7 Forget each wrong I did
    when I was young.
Show how truly kind you are
    and remember me.
8 You are honest and merciful,
and you teach sinners
    how to follow your path.

6 Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,(A)
    for they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth(B)
    and my rebellious ways;(C)
according to your love(D) remember me,
    for you, Lord, are good.(E)

8 Good and upright(F) is the Lord;
    therefore he instructs(G) sinners in his ways.
