²⁴ For He has ^(A)not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;
Nor has He ^(B)hidden His face from him;
But ^(C)when he cried to Him for help, He heard.

³³ For ^(A)the Lord hears the needy
And ^(B)does not despise His who are prisoners.

¹⁷ He has ^(A)regarded the prayer of the ^[a]destitute
And has not despised their prayer.
