⁷^(A)The law of the Lord is perfect,^[a]
^(B)reviving the soul;
^(C)the testimony of the Lord is ^(D)sure,
^(E)making wise ^(F)the simple;

⁷The law of the Lord^(A) is perfect,^(B)
refreshing the soul.^(C)
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,^(D)
making wise the simple.^(E)

⁵He made it ^(A)a decree in ^(B)Joseph
when he ^(C)went out over^[a] the land of Egypt.
^(D)I hear a language ^(E)I had not known:

⁵When God went out against Egypt,^(A)
he established it as a statute for Joseph.
