Psalm 18:42-44
New Life Version

42 Then I beat them as small as the dust in the wind. I emptied them out like mud in the streets.

43 You have taken me away from the fighting of the people. You have made me the leader of nations. People whom I have not known will serve me. 44 As soon as they hear, they obey me. Those from other lands obey me.

    I trampled them[a] like mud in the streets.
43 You have delivered me from the attacks of the people;
    you have made me the head of nations.(B)
People I did not know(C) now serve me,
44     foreigners(D) cower before me;
    as soon as they hear of me, they obey me.
