Psalm 18:39

³⁹You armed me with strength^(A) for battle;
you humbled my adversaries^(B) before me.

³⁹For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.

⁴⁷He is the God who avenges^(A) me,
who subdues nations^(B) under me,

⁴⁷It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.

⁶which in anger struck down peoples^(A)
with unceasing blows,
and in fury subdued^(B) nations
with relentless aggression.^(C)

⁶He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
