Psalm 16:8-10

International Standard Version

⁸I have set the Lord before me continuously;
    because he stands at my right hand, I will stand firm.^[a]
⁹Therefore, my heart is glad,
    my whole being^[b] rejoices,
        and my body will dwell securely.
¹⁰For you will not leave my soul in Sheol,^[c]
    you will not allow your holy one to experience corruption.^[d]

⁸I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand,^(A) I will not be shaken.^(B)

⁹Therefore my heart is glad^(C) and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,^(D)
¹⁰because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,^(E)
nor will you let your faithful^[a] one^(F) see decay.^(G)
