4 All the [a]kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord: for they have heard the words of thy mouth.

5 And they shall sing of the ways of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord is great.

6 For the Lord is high, yet he beholdeth the lowly, but the proud he knoweth [b]afar off.

4 May all the kings of the earth(A) praise you, Lord,
    when they hear what you have decreed.
5 May they sing(B) of the ways of the Lord,
    for the glory of the Lord(C) is great.

6 Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly;(D)
    though lofty, he sees them(E) from afar.
