Psalm 12:5-7
Lexham English Bible

5 “Because of the oppression of the afflicted,
because of the groaning of the poor,
now I will rise up,” Yahweh says.
“I shall put them in the safety for which they[a] long.”
6 The words of Yahweh are pure words
like silver refined in the crucible on the ground,
refined seven times.
7 You, O Yahweh, will protect them.
You will preserve him[b]
from this generation always.

    I will now arise,(C)” says the Lord.
    “I will protect them(D) from those who malign them.”
6 And the words of the Lord are flawless,(E)
    like silver purified(F) in a crucible,(G)
    like gold[a] refined seven times.

7 You, Lord, will keep the needy safe(H)
    and will protect us forever from the wicked,(I)
