Psalm 118:12

English Standard Version

¹²^(A)They surrounded me like bees;
they went out like ^(B)a fire among thorns;
in the name of the Lord I cut them off!

New International Version

¹²They swarmed around me like bees,^(A)
but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns;^(B)
in the name of the Lord I cut them down.^(C)

¹⁸In that day the Lord will ^(A)whistle for the fly that is at the end of the streams of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

¹⁸In that day^(A) the Lord will whistle^(B) for flies from the Nile delta in Egypt and for bees from the land of Assyria.^(C)
