¹⁰The wicked man will see it and be angry;
he will gnash his teeth in despair.^(A)

¹⁰The wicked will see^(A) and be vexed,
they will gnash their teeth^(B) and waste away;^(C)
the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.^(D)

¹⁸I will clothe his enemies with shame,^(A)
but the crown he wears^[a] will be glorious.”^(B)
