⁴For my love they oppose me, and I -- prayer!

⁵And they set against me evil for good, And hatred for my love.

⁶Appoint Thou over him the wicked, And an adversary standeth at his right hand.

New International Version

⁴In return for my friendship they accuse me,
but I am a man of prayer.^(A)
⁵They repay me evil for good,^(B)
and hatred for my friendship.

⁶Appoint someone evil to oppose my enemy;
let an accuser^(C) stand at his right hand.
