¹O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!

²Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has delivered from the hand of the adversary,

¹Give thanks to the Lord,^(A) for he is good;^(B)
his love endures forever.

²Let the redeemed^(C) of the Lord tell their story—
those he redeemed from the hand of the foe,
