³⁴ No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’^(A) for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them”^(B)—this is the Lord’s declaration. “For I will forgive their iniquity^(C) and never again remember their sin.

⁶ But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—then he told the paralytic, “Get up, take your stretcher, and go home.”

²⁸ For this is my blood of the covenant,^[a] which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.^(A)
