Psalm 22:24

New English Translation

²⁴For he did not despise or detest the suffering^[a] of the oppressed.^[b]
He did not ignore him;^[c]
when he cried out to him, he responded.^[d]

Psalm 22:24 sn In this verse the psalmist refers to himself in the third person and characterizes himself as oppressed.
