¹⁴ There are those whose teeth are ^(A)swords,
    whose ^(B)fangs are knives,
to ^(C)devour the poor from off the earth,
    the needy from among mankind.

^25 (A)Pour out your wrath on the nations that know you not,
    and on the peoples that call not on your name,
^(B)for they have devoured Jacob;
    they have devoured him and consumed him,
    and have laid waste his habitation.

⁷ All of them are hot as an oven,
    and they devour their rulers.
All ^(A)their kings ^(B)have fallen,
    and none of them calls upon me.

² When evildoers assail me
    to ^(A)eat up my flesh,
my adversaries and foes,
    it is they who stumble and fall.

⁴ Hear this, ^(A)you who trample on the needy
    and bring the poor of the land to an end,

^3 (A)who eat the flesh of my people,
    and flay their skin from off them,
and break their bones in pieces
    and chop them up like meat in a pot,
    like flesh in a cauldron.
