7 When you are full, you will not even eat honey. When you are hungry, even something bitter tastes sweet.
8 A man away from home is like a bird away from its nest.
9 Perfume and incense make you feel good, and so does good advice from a friend.

New International Version
7 One who is full loathes honey from the comb,
but to the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet.
8 Like a bird that flees its nest(A)
is anyone who flees from home.
9 Perfume(B) and incense bring joy to the heart,
and the pleasantness of a friend
springs from their heartfelt advice.
