Proverbs 27:19-21

¹⁹As water reflects the face,
so the heart reflects the person.

²⁰Sheol and Abaddon^(A) are never satisfied,^(B)
and people’s eyes are never satisfied.^(C)

²¹A crucible for silver, and a smelter for gold,
and a man for the words of his praise.^[a]^(D)
