Proverbs 19:21-23

21 Many (A)plans are in a man’s heart,
But the (B)counsel of the Lord will stand.
22 What is desirable in a man is his [a]kindness,
And it is better to be a poor man than a liar.
23 The [b](C)fear of the Lord leads to life,
So that one may sleep (D)satisfied, [c](E)untouched by evil.

22 What a person desires is unfailing love[a];
better to be poor than a liar.
23 The fear of the Lord leads to life;
