Proverbs 14:4-6
New Catholic Bible
4 Where there are no oxen, the barn is empty of grain,
but abundant crops come through the strength of the ox.
5 A truthful witness does not lie,
but a false witness lies incessantly.[a]
6 In vain does a scoffer[b] seek wisdom,
but knowledge comes easily to the man of discernment.
