Proverbs 11:4-6

⁴¶ Riches shall not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness shall deliver from death.

⁵¶ The righteousness of the perfect shall straighten his way, but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

⁶The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them, but transgressors shall be imprisoned in their own sin.

Proverbs 11:4-6

New International Version

⁴Wealth^(A) is worthless in the day of wrath,^(B)
but righteousness delivers from death.^(C)

⁵The righteousness of the blameless makes their paths straight,^(D)
but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness.^(E)

⁶The righteousness of the upright delivers them,
but the unfaithful are trapped by evil desires.^(F)
