16 for even in (A)Thessalonica you sent a gift more than once for my needs. 17 (B)Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the [a]profit which increases to your account. 18 But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am [b]amply supplied, having received from (C)Epaphroditus [c]what you have sent, [d](D)a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.

16 for even when I was in Thessalonica,(A) you sent me aid more than once when I was in need.(B) 17 Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.(C) 18 I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus(D) the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant(E) offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.
