¹³ Brothers, I do not^[a] consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind^(A) and reaching forward to what is ahead,

¹² Although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the basic principles of God’s revelation again. You need milk, not solid food.^(A)

¹⁴ how much more will the blood of the Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit^(A) offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse our^[a] consciences from dead works to serve the living God?^(B)
