16 holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. 17 Even if I am to be poured as a libation upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. 18 Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me.

16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ(A) that I did not run(B) or labor in vain.(C) 17 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering(D) on the sacrifice(E) and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.(F) 18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.
