6 And I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns.
7 How natural it is that I should feel as I do about you, for you have a very special place in my heart. We have shared together the blessings of God, both when I was in prison and when I was out, defending the truth and telling others about Christ. 8 Only God knows how deep is my love and longing for you—with the tenderness of Jesus Christ.

6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion(A) until the day of Christ Jesus.(B)
7 It is right(C) for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart(D) and, whether I am in chains(E) or defending(F) and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me. 8 God can testify(G) how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.
