⁸هەمیشە چاوم لەسەر یەزدانە،
لەبەر ئەوەی لەلای دەستەڕاستمەوەیە، ناهەژێم.

⁹بۆیە دڵشادم و گیانم خۆشحاڵە،
    تەنانەت جەستەم بە ئاسوودەیی نیشتەجێیە،
¹⁰چونکە تۆ گیانم لە جیهانی مردوواندا بەجێناهێڵیت،
    هەروەها ڕێگا نادەیت ئەوەی تۆ پیرۆزت کردووە^[a] لەناو گۆڕ بۆگەن بێت.
¹¹ڕێگای ژیانت پێ ناساندم،
    تێربوون لە شادی لە ئامادەبوونتدایە،
    خۆشحاڵی هەتاهەتایی لەلای دەستە ڕاستی تۆدایە.

⁸I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand,^(A) I will not be shaken.^(B)

⁹Therefore my heart is glad^(C) and my tongue rejoices;
    my body also will rest secure,^(D)
¹⁰because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,^(E)
    nor will you let your faithful^[a] one^(F) see decay.^(G)
¹¹You make known to me the path of life;^(H)
    you will fill me with joy in your presence,^(I)
    with eternal pleasures^(J) at your right hand.^(K)
