43 (A)N’amuwa n’okutambuliranga mu ggaali lye eriddirira mu kitiibwa ng’erya Falaawo mwe yatambuliranga. Bonna ne bavuunama mu maaso ga Yusufu nga bwe bagamba nti, “Muvuuname.” Bw’atyo Falaawo n’amuteekawo okufuga ensi yonna ey’e Misiri.
44 (B)Falaawo n’agamba Yusufu nti, “Nze Falaawo, naye awatali kigambo kyo tewali muntu aliyimusa mukono gwe newaakubadde ekigere kye mu Misiri.”

43 He had him ride in a chariot(A) as his second-in-command,[a](B) and people shouted before him, “Make way[b]!”(C) Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt.(D)
44 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, but without your word no one will lift hand or foot in all Egypt.”(E)
