²⁷ When he has made her drink the water, then it shall be, if she has defiled herself and behaved unfaithfully toward her husband, that the water that brings a ^(A)curse will enter her and become bitter, and her belly will swell, her thigh will rot, and the woman ^(B)will become a curse among her people.

¹⁵ you shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying it, all that is in it and its livestock—with the edge of the sword.

¹⁸ “For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘As My anger and My fury have been ^(A)poured out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so will My fury be poured out on you when you enter Egypt. And ^(B)you shall be an oath, an astonishment, a curse, and a reproach; and you shall see this place no more.’
