²⁹ If these men die a natural death and suffer the fate of all mankind, then the Lord has not sent me.^(A)

²² If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true,^(A) that is a message the Lord has not spoken.^(B) That prophet has spoken presumptuously,^(C) so do not be alarmed.
