Moses told the children of Israel that they should keep the Passover. They kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did. There were certain men, who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and Aaron on that day.

So Moses told the Israelites to celebrate the Passover,(A) and they did so in the Desert of Sinai(B) at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.(C) The Israelites did everything just as the Lord commanded Moses.(D)

But some of them could not celebrate the Passover on that day because they were ceremonially unclean(E) on account of a dead body.(F) So they came to Moses and Aaron(G) that same day
