19 And when the cloud tarried still upon the Tabernacle a long time, the children of Israel kept the [a]watch of the Lord, and journeyed not.

20 So when the cloud abode [b]a few days upon the Tabernacle, they abode in their tents according to the commandment of the Lord: for they journeyed at the commandment of the Lord.

21 And though the cloud abode upon the Tabernacle from even unto the morning, yet if the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether by day or by night the cloud was taken up, then they journeyed.

19 When the cloud remained over the tabernacle a long time, the Israelites obeyed the Lord’s order(A) and did not set out.(B) 20 Sometimes the cloud was over the tabernacle only a few days; at the Lord’s command they would encamp, and then at his command they would set out. 21 Sometimes the cloud stayed only from evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they set out. Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set out.
