Numbers 32:39-41

39 The descendants[a] of Makir son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and they captured it and drove out the Amorites[b] who were in it. 40 So Moses gave Gilead to Makir son of Manasseh, and he lived in it. 41 And Jair son of Manasseh went and captured their unwalled villages, and he called them Havvoth Jair.

39 The descendants of Makir(A) son of Manasseh went to Gilead,(B) captured it and drove out the Amorites(C) who were there. 40 So Moses gave Gilead to the Makirites,(D) the descendants of Manasseh, and they settled there. 41 Jair,(E) a descendant of Manasseh, captured their settlements and called them Havvoth Jair.[a](F)
