38 Nebo, and Baal-meon (whose names were changed), and Sibmah. They named the cities that they built. 39 The descendants of Machir, Manasseh’s son, went to Gilead, captured it, and drove out the Amorites who were there. 40 So Moses gave Gilead to Machir, Manasseh’s son, and he lived there.

39 The descendants of Makir(C) son of Manasseh went to Gilead,(D) captured it and drove out the Amorites(E) who were there. 40 So Moses gave Gilead to the Makirites,(F) the descendants of Manasseh, and they settled there.
