3 “At′aroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elea′leh, Sebam, Nebo, and Be′on, 4 the land which the Lord smote before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattle; and your servants have cattle.” 5 And they said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants for a possession; do not take us across the Jordan.”

3 “Ataroth,(A) Dibon,(B) Jazer,(C) Nimrah,(D) Heshbon,(E) Elealeh,(F) Sebam,(G) Nebo(H) and Beon(I)— 4 the land the Lord subdued(J) before the people of Israel—are suitable for livestock,(K) and your servants have livestock. 5 If we have found favor in your eyes,” they said, “let this land be given to your servants as our possession. Do not make us cross the Jordan.(L)”
