²⁹ And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will go with you over Jordan, all armed to fight before the Lord, then when the land is subdued before you, ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:

¹² And this land which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, ^(A)and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and Gadites.

⁸ For with half thereof the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, ^(A)which Moses gave them beyond Jordan Eastward, even as Moses the servant of the Lord had given them.
