29 The clans of the Kohathites were to camp on the south side of the tabernacle, 30 with Elizaphan son of Uzziel as head of the ancestral house of the clans of the Kohathites. 31 Their responsibility was to be the ark, the table, the lampstand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary with which the priests minister, and the screen—all the service pertaining to these.

29 The Kohathite clans were to camp on the south side(A) of the tabernacle. 30 The leader of the families of the Kohathite clans was Elizaphan(B) son of Uzziel. 31 They were responsible for the care of the ark,(C) the table,(D) the lampstand,(E) the altars,(F) the articles(G) of the sanctuary used in ministering, the curtain,(H) and everything related to their use.(I)
