29 The descendants of Kohath encamped beside the tent toward the south. 30 The leader of the tribe and family of Kohath was Uzziel’s son Elizaphan. 31 Their duties pertained to the ark, the table, the lamp stand, the altars, the utensils of the sanctuary with which they ministered, and all the curtains in use.

29 The Kohathite clans were to camp on the south side(A) of the tabernacle. 30 The leader of the families of the Kohathite clans was Elizaphan(B) son of Uzziel. 31 They were responsible for the care of the ark,(C) the table,(D) the lampstand,(E) the altars,(F) the articles(G) of the sanctuary used in ministering, the curtain,(H) and everything related to their use.(I)
