29 The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the South side of the Tabernacle.
30 The captain and ancient of the house and families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel:
31 And their charge shall be the [a]Ark, and the Table, and the Candlestick, and the altars, and the instruments of the Sanctuary that they minister with, and the veil, and all that serveth thereto.

29 The Kohathite clans were to camp on the south side(A) of the tabernacle. 30 The leader of the families of the Kohathite clans was Elizaphan(B) son of Uzziel. 31 They were responsible for the care of the ark,(C) the table,(D) the lampstand,(E) the altars,(F) the articles(G) of the sanctuary used in ministering, the curtain,(H) and everything related to their use.(I)
