On New Year’s Day. 1 In the seventh month on the first day[a] you will declare a holy day, and do no heavy work; it shall be a day on which you sound the trumpet.(A) 2 You will offer a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma to the Lord: one bull of the herd, one ram, and seven unblemished yearling lambs.

29 “‘On the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.(B) It is a day for you to sound the trumpets. 2 As an aroma pleasing to the Lord,(C) offer a burnt offering(D) of one young bull, one ram and seven male lambs a year old,(E) all without defect.(F)
