^19-21The tribe of Judah: the clans of Shelah, Perez, Zerah, Hezron, and Hamul. (Two of Judah's sons, Er and Onan, had died in the land of Canaan.)

Numbers 26:19-21

New International Version

¹⁹Er^(A) and Onan^(B) were sons of Judah, but they died^(C) in Canaan.

²⁰The descendants of Judah by their clans were:

through Shelah,^(D) the Shelanite clan;

through Perez,^(E) the Perezite clan;

through Zerah, the Zerahite clan.^(F)

²¹The descendants of Perez^(G) were:

through Hezron,^(H) the Hezronite clan;

through Hamul, the Hamulite clan.
