9 (A)So Moses made a serpent of brass, and set it up for a sign: and when a serpent had bitten a man, then he looked to the serpent of brass, and [a]lived.
10 (B)And the children of Israel departed thence, and pitched in Oboth.
11 ¶ And they departed from Oboth, and pitched [b]in Ije Abarim, in the wilderness, which is before Moab on the East side.

New International Version
9 So Moses made a bronze snake(A) and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.(B)
