Numbers 21:24-26
New Life Version
24 Then Israel killed Sihon with the sword. They took his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as the people of Ammon. For Jazer was the side of the land of the Ammonites. 25 Israel took all these cities. They lived in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all its towns. 26 For Heshbon was the city of Sihon king of the Amorites. He had fought against the man who was once the king of Moab, and had taken all his land as far as the Arnon.

New International Version
24 Israel, however, put him to the sword(A) and took over his land(B) from the Arnon to the Jabbok,(C) but only as far as the Ammonites,(D) because their border was fortified. 25 Israel captured all the cities of the Amorites(E) and occupied them,(F) including Heshbon(G) and all its surrounding settlements. 26 Heshbon was the city of Sihon(H) king of the Amorites,(I) who had fought against the former king of Moab(J) and had taken from him all his land as far as the Arnon.(K)
